After last weeks discussions and sharing of ideas regarding the cone of experience, the next task was to develop an accurate and fitting role play on a specific part of the cone, both in the perception of the student and the teacher.

I was assigned the number 1 and got along with my groupmates. Then we were given the first tier, the direct and purposeful experience, and trust me if I say we found it hard to conceptualize.

Our presentation revolved around the concept of the teacher introducing a new application and then asking one of his students to present the said application after, having the idea of it as a direct and purposeful experience.

Unfortunately, our presentation was more of a demonstration. Gladly, we listened to the point made by our teacher that it should have been a discussion revolving around the past experiences of the students themselves.

All in all, the role plays went well with all of us gaining new insights.
